Today was fantastic!

Suigetsu
Went to the parade at noon - got the good seat on the post office wall again. HS marching band was first - all I really needed to hear was the cadence to be happy. They weren't in real uniforms, just jeans and matching t-shirts. We guessed that cut down on dry cleaning expenses, and I think I heard there was a game yesterday (during the race?) Northport Ford drove a whole bunch of different color Mustangs. I love the new ones, but they're not quite right yet. I really just prefer the look of the classic ones. A lot of the same 'ol, some different stuff in the parade.

Browsed in the shops, got the seafood bisque at the Ship's Inn, and went on the boat. No wind, but lots of sun - up on the bow most of the time with my feet over the edge...crazy crazy powerboat wakes made that interesting atleast!

Aww, the raccoons are fighting! We were just talking about them at the beach! APPARANTLY THERE ARE DEER HERE. They swam over from Lloyd's Neck. People have actually been having accidents cause they're running across the main road. We also learned that there was a seal crossing Asharoken Ave in March. Go figure!

So yea, went down to the beach and BBQed with the neighbors (some are in from far and won't be back til may) and THEN THE MOON CAME OUT!!!It is so gorgeous and bright and suigetsuey! Needless to say I took tons of pictures...and then we went home to get the tripod so they could actually come out well. Downloading now - we'll see how they look big. I did some cool stuff where I jumped infront of the camera and posed and just came out as a shadow-person. LOVE IT.

oh, I ADORE band cadences!!!! nothing like standing infront of the drum line while they're playing one!

That was my favorite part too :-) Well, I could have been just as happy standing behind the drum line ;-)

But YAY for mustangs. I like the new ones a lot. Agree with you - not quite perfect. But they're very sleek.
