Hi Sara! (She can see this as it is not locked...and so can the entire WORLD! omg).......

I hadn't taken the ferry in a while, but after driving into and through Queens twice already this week, it was a much better way to spend 1.25 hours. I got to sit outside with  lovely view, update my football team, email, text, make calls. I would have read my book had I remembered to grab it on my way out the door for Manorville, when I thought I'd stop home before the ferry. The visit was a little longer than normal, which was good, and I got to see her eat SOMETHING, but she's still showing no interest in dry food.

I did not get hit by a tornado! Josh called to say they were in the area, but the TV was apparently 3 hours late in mentioning them.
Sara made fabulous Mac n Cheese and I got to play a little of a party game before it was back to the boat!

I do not like the Merritt Parkway! This may be because I'm only on it when it is dark, raining, foggy, and possibly tired.
It did get me there just as well, although the GPS wanted me to drive around, and my Phone is great but needs to stay active...at least they have signs for the ferry when you get close!

I'm up way too late taking care of a few things, but I'm tracking a package while I'm up, and it is actually making lots of progress in the past few WEE hours!

I'm going to check the doorstep...although, it would have been scanned and updated if it got here already! They wouldn't ring the doorbell at this hour, but they HAVE to scan it; and thanks to Motorola, I will know when it is here...even if I don't know it is here (by looking).

Not only am I eating PB&J on an english muffin WITHOUT NAPKINS...but I'm wearing white.
I am so doomed! Haven't had this in forever though - and got it right downstairs! :)

We just fed the cat its Thanksgiving Fancy Feast! We mixed in the little package of Turkey giblets and gravy for catfood with its normal food! We replaced water with milk and it was in heaven!

I'm crafting a bowl of dip that looks like a turkey now. I figured crackers as feathers and wings in the back and side....but the head was a mystery. Luckily we're also bringing cheese and crackers, so i had PEPPERONI!!! I folded one of the pieces of pepperoni for the WATTLE

I think I'm going to use a fortune cookie around the pepperoni for the head. It holds it nicely, and atleast it is food. Nobody has to eat it in conjunction WITH the dip.

Oh it is so cute. We went to home depot to get garbage pails and a faucet for the kitchen, and I got a can (yes, just one so far) of "Antique Red" paint for the shed. You see, the shed is so cute and they made it look like a BARN with the double doors and white trim and X's. However, either they attempted to painted it red and it washed off, or they ACTUALLY painted it pink....but it looks like barbie's barn.

I got one wall done today before it got dark and it is SO CUTE!


The red splotches on the front door is where I was de-painting the brush. It looks a little weird, but won't be like that for long...

If we got a little shetland pony, and put it in front of the shed, maybe it would look like a real barn!!! hahaha
